Depending on what bird/genetics a Cloudwing is based on can grant them extra features and abilities, as for example camorant based Cloudwings might have webbed talons or waterproof feathers, or roadrunner based Cloudwings could have talons more suited for running. However, some Cloudwings aren’t based on a bird at all, and those Cloudwings are usually gray scale, black, or white. What bird they are is dependent on their genetics and parents. There are even whole families and bloodlines of a particular bird or group.
Cloudwing doesn’t have to perfectly match a bird but there should be some vague resemblance, so yes there can be two crow based Cloudwings or three peacock based Cloudwings. As for the coloration and patterns of Cloudwings, nearly every Cloudwing’s design is based on certain bird species that are different to most dragons. They have hollow bones like birds, making them lighter for flight but easily broken, and they have features such as big lungs with multiple air sacs, hemoglobin in their blood that sticks to oxygen, etc that allows them to survive in high altitudes and places with thin air. They also have feathered crests as well as feathers along the jawline, tail fans, and large, feathered wings that are bigger than a Skywing’s. Cloudwings are small compared to the other tribes and usually have a wiry graceful build, but some of the ground-dwelling bird based Cloudwings may be more bulky. Instead of scales, Cloudwings have small feathers covering their bodies, making them more agile than the more common bulky scaled dragons. All of the stuff here about the tribe I came up with in my mind and if a piece or two is similar to your own tribe then I'm sorry and I did not intend to steal it. Did I steal the name from another person? No, I came up with it myself but the name is just a really popular one and if you have a tribe with the same name apologies it was just a coincidence. Will I change it? No, this was the first ever tribe I made and I'm too attached to change it. Is the name of the tribe uncreative? Yes.
